Dr. Seong Kim has developed and deployed radar systems for over 30 years while working at Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, General Atomics and L3 Technologies. Dr. Kim is an expert in antenna, phased array and size, weight and power (SWaP) constrained systems with published papers, invited presentations and issued patents. He has led advanced radar development programs such as the Navy’s E2-C and AN/SPY-3 surveillance radars, the Army’s Longbow millimeter wave missile seeker and fire control radars, and the Air Force’s Predator UAV Lynx synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging system. He has successfully executed multi-million dollar classified and unclassified projects with DARPA, AFRL, ONR and other research centers. He holds a BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering, all from Pennsylvania State University.
